Furniture Terms & Conditions

  1. A 50% deposit of the total invoiced amount is to be paid on placement of the order.
  2. Orders can be paid by cash, cheque (made payable to Lilly & Lolly Pty Ltd), direct deposit or credit card.
  3. The balance of the order must be paid prior to the dispatch (including the freight charge).
  4. Orders will be emailed to customers prior to manufacture. It is the customer’s responsibility to check that the order is correct and advise of any changes required. The order will be amended and emailed to the customer until the order is correct. Manufacture of your furniture will commence on receipt of your written approval via return email.
  5. Allow up to 7 days for delivery from dispatch date. Please note that for remote areas, this time may be extended due to the frequency of delivery to the area by the carrier.
  6. Lilly & Lolly furniture is made to order and takes approximately 5-7 weeks to be made.
  7. Allow 5-7 weeks for Sydney deliveries and 8 weeks for interstate deliveries.
  8. All custom orders (ie. orders that are not our standard colours and designs) must be signed off by the customer. Lilly & Lolly will not accept any change of mind and/or returns on custom orders.
  9. Lilly & Lolly check all furniture prior to wrapping and dispatch, and it is therefore the customers responsibility to check for any damages on delivery. The delivery driver will hand the customer a Delivery Docket. The customer, on signing this document acknowledges that the goods have been received in good condition.
  10. Lilly & Lolly furniture is handcrafted in Sydney out of solid timbers and veneers. Any timber and timber veneer by nature has variations in grain and colour. Lilly & Lolly cannot guarantee the colour or wood grain of any piece of timber furniture.
  11. If the order is cancelled after 5 working days from receipt of deposit, a 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from the deposit received.

 Delivery

  1. Lilly & Lolly can arrange delivery Australia wide.
  2. If Lilly & Lolly arrange the delivery, we accept responsibility for:
    i.     Arranging delivery
    ii.    Any damages that occur in transit
  3. The freight company responsible for  the delivery will contact the customer to advise the delivery date and time once picked up from our warehouse.
  4. Lilly & Lolly require all customers to CHECK items of furniture for damages BEFORE signing the Delivery Docket.
  5. Once the Delivery Docket is signed, the customer has acknowledged that the goods have been received in good condition and has accepted the goods in that condition. It is therefore important to check the items thoroughly before signing.
  6. If any item has been damaged, has not been received, or the item is incorrect, DO NOT accept the delivery or sign the Delivery Docket for the relevant item(s). If an item is damaged, it must be placed back on the truck and returned to Lilly & Lolly. A call to our warehouse on 02 9545 0060 is to be made to advise of the damage and the action that has been taken (i.e. item has been placed back on the truck).
  7. Any damaged items will be replaced by Lilly & Lolly as soon as possible. The item(s) will be repaired at the discretion of Lilly & Lolly. The customer will be advised of a new delivery time for the items(s) once they are ready for dispatch.
  8. Freight is quoted based on delivery to ground level and a short distance from the unloading area only. Please advise if there are stairs or if access is difficult, as the freight carrier will not deliver unless advised in advance. Extra charges may apply.
  9. It is a customers responsibility to check that access is feasible for delivery of the item prior to purchase. Lilly & Lolly therefore will not take responsibility for an item that does not fit through the access area or the designated space in the customers home. Lilly & Lolly will not be held liable and will accept no claims on this basis.
